Tango Yankee House turns ordinary houses into small communities of vets who look out for each other, enjoy private and secure personal spaces while sharing common spaces with all the comforts of home. Tango Yankee House is designed to accommodate vouchers through VASH and other programs that assist unhoused veterans find and afford safe space to uncover and kick off their boots (so to speak).

Who we are
Welcome to our family! We are David Burch (Navy Vet) and Tamara Burch. We have received so many service related benefits throughout our lives that we were inspired to find some way that we could help services members who might be in need. When we learned about VASH we knew instantly that this is how we could help.
Tango Yankee House (TYH) is a veteran-focused company dedicated to supporting veterans and at-risk individuals in achieving safe, stable housing. TYH Community Support is a non-profit and will be our service focused arm. TYH Community Support work centers on service coordination, housing stabilization, and community partnerships that reduce barriers to housing access.

Veteran Housing Stabilization: Case management, housing navigation, and homelessness prevention
Housing Preservation (Partner-Led): Minor repairs and accessibility improvements through partners
Workforce & Community Partnerships: Building future pipelines for housing and employment stability
